Museums in Hollywood

If you are planning to travel to Hollywood, you should visit the following museums as part of your trip. They are located close to each other, in my experience, I was able to visit all three on the same day. I would recommend to visit one museum per day, or two in a day, just to enjoy more and have a relaxing experience and appreciate all the art pieces exposed.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood

Address: 6933 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028

Madame Tussauds is located on Hollywood Blvd and the museum has three floors. People usually spend one to two hours enjoying this attraction. When visiting the website, you can see there are two packages: a standard ticket and the ultimate experience. The Standard Ticket when bought online you can save over $10, the online price is $19.99 and when purchasing at the museum is $30.95. This includes entry to Marvel Superheroes 4D and it is a day access ticket (any time). The Ultimate Experience is a VIP package that includes admission, a wax hand and a photo as souvenirs as well as Marvel Superheroes 4D experience. You can see the wax statues and use props to take pictures with them and feel part of the action. Some of the statues include Jennifer Lopez, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Michael Jackson, and Sylvester Stallone.

The Hollywood Wax Museum

Address: 1660 N Highland Ave, Hollywood, CA 90028

The Hollywood Museum has a huge collection of Hollywood memorabilia. The museum features four floors of breathtaking exhibits, one of a kind costumes, props, photographs, scripts, car collections, posters, and vintage memorabilia from movies and TV shows. You can visit Elvis Presley, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Miley Cyrus, and more! An adult ticket costs $15 and student ticket costs $12 dollars. However, it is possible to visit this museum and Guinness World for a better price presented in the next paragraph.

Guinness World Records Museum

Address: 6764 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028

There are record-breaking information from the best selling book coming into life at the Guinness World Record Museum. You can try to jump and see if you passed the world’s long jump record, compare your height with the tallest person, check your weight and more. This museum is located across from the Hollywood Wax Museum and there is a discount for admission tickets in both museums. A regular ticket for this museum costs $25.99 dollars, but when buying the Hollywood VIP Pass for only $35.99, you will have access to both museums and more!

I have visited all three of them in one day due to my short-time trip to Los Angeles. I spent around 1 hour and a half in each of the museums, took a lot of pictures, and got souvenirs for my family and friends. I highly recommend these museums as fun attractions, everyone should visit at least one of them once they are around Hollywood. Below, you can see some pictures I got from my trip in Summer 2018.

4 Essential Travel Items

4 Essential Travel Items      Hello everyone! If you are planning to travel any time soon, you should consider buying these four items for your trip because they will be really helpful. These items will make your life easier in a way that you don’t need others taking your pictures, don’t need to be worried about low your phone battery is or losing something on your trip, or having your clothes always fresh.  Selfie stick & Tripod      I got this self-stick/tripod on Amazon, and it was a great purchase before my trip to LA. It comes with a remote that connects to the phone, and I did not have to worry about asking people to take my pictures. It is 40 inches extendable, so I thought the height was good enough for my pictures. The remote worked well, and I had no problems being at a certain distance from my phone, they kept connected, and the remote was charged for a long time. These are some of the pictures I took with the tripod version: You can buy this item here: https://a

Eight Hours in Orlando

It was July 2017 when I bought my tickets to visit my family in Brazil during the winter break. My classes would be done in the first week of December, so I wanted to buy the tickets at a reasonable price as soon as possible. I would have a layover of eight hours in Florida, but I didn't pay attention to the airport, so I thought it was Miami since I've been there all the time between my flights from Brazil to Minnesota and vice versa. At the end of November, I wanted to check my layovers to let my mom know about everything, and I realized I was actually going to Orlando. So I searched how far would be the airport from Disney World, and it would range from 20 to 25 minutes. I realized I had my perfect chance to get to see Disney World, and after talking to my mom about it, she was afraid I would not have enough time to enjoy the park and catch my flight, but I convinced her and bought my ticket online. My Adventure at Universal Studios

Entrance On my second day in Orlando, June 30th, 2021, we went to have fun at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure ( https://www.universalorlando.com ). We got there around 10:30 am and I thought the parking was really organized, because there were instructions and staff helping the cars to park and the spaces were filling out in sequence, so you don’t have to get crazy looking for a spot. Since we only had the snack from the hotel, we decided to have brunch at Panda Express. There were different restaurant options at Universal, including Bigfire, Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food, Cowfish, Hard Rock Cafe, and others.                        Universal Orlando Resort Entrance         On the way to Islands of Adventure Park/Rides After eating, we started walking in the direction of the Islands of Adventure park. The first section of the park was the Marvel rides. The first ride we tried was the Doctor Doom's Fearfall with a 35-min waiting line. Then, we went on Sku
